AOD-9604

Available sizes: 5 mg
AOD-9604 is hGH(177-191) with an N-terminal tyrosine. Fragment studies of growth hormone in the 1970s and 80s indicated that effects on adipose tissue mapped to the C-terminal region, and could be separated from the growth-promoting activity of the whole hormone.
That separation is the compound's entire research rationale. It does not meaningfully bind the growth hormone receptor and is not reported to raise IGF-1, so observations made with it cannot be attributed to the somatotropic axis.
Adipocyte lipolysis and lipogenesis in culture and in animal models
Beta-3 adrenergic receptor expression, a proposed mechanism
Structure-activity work on growth hormone fragments
Cartilage and joint models, a separate and smaller literature this compound also appears in
Human trial results have been mixed, and that is worth stating alongside the mechanistic rationale rather than after it.
Tesamorelin approaches adipose tissue through the intact somatotropic axis — the comparison between the two is precisely the question AOD-9604 was built to ask. IGF-1 LR3 is the mediator it avoids.
Certificates of Analysis are published for tested products and batches. A certificate is a batch-specific record: it reports what was measured, by which method, on a stated date, against a batch identifier. It is evidence about the sample analysed at the time of analysis, and it is silent on attributes it does not list and on what has happened to the material since.
The batch number is the field that connects the document to a physical vial. Where the identifier on a vial does not appear on a certificate, the certificate does not describe that vial, however thorough the analysis behind it was. Batch records can be searched directly, and the guides below explain what each field establishes and what it does not.
