P021

Available sizes: 10 mg
P021 derives from Peptide 6, a fragment of ciliary neurotrophic factor identified as retaining neurotrophic activity. The modifications — including an adamantane group — address the two problems that limit neurotrophic factors as research tools: they degrade quickly and they do not cross the blood-brain barrier.
BDNF expression, raised indirectly through inhibition of LIF signalling
Neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus, a standard endpoint in this field
Tau pathology models, where P021 has a specific literature
Synaptic density and plasticity measures
Alzheimer's disease models, the framing for most of the published work
Dihexa is the closest methodological relative — a stabilised small molecule modulating an endogenous neurotrophic pathway. Cerebrolysin and Semax approach the same endpoints differently.
Certificates of Analysis are published for tested products and batches. A certificate is a batch-specific record: it reports what was measured, by which method, on a stated date, against a batch identifier. It is evidence about the sample analysed at the time of analysis, and it is silent on attributes it does not list and on what has happened to the material since.
The batch number is the field that connects the document to a physical vial. Where the identifier on a vial does not appear on a certificate, the certificate does not describe that vial, however thorough the analysis behind it was. Batch records can be searched directly, and the guides below explain what each field establishes and what it does not.
