CJC-1295

Available sizes: 5mg | No DAC, 5mg | With DAC, 10mg | No DAC
Both forms share four substitutions to GHRH(1-29) that resist DPP-4 cleavage and other degradation routes. The difference is the Drug Affinity Complex: a maleimide group that forms a covalent bond with albumin in circulation, turning a peptide with a short half-life into one measured in days.
The pharmacology that follows is not a matter of degree. With DAC produces a sustained elevation — a "bleed" rather than a pulse; without DAC produces something much closer to the physiological pattern. Studies using one cannot be read as evidence about the other, and the certificate of analysis for a batch records which form it is.
Somatotropic axis pharmacology, and the effect of sustained versus pulsatile receptor stimulation
Receptor desensitisation under continuous agonism — the central question for the DAC form
Downstream IGF-1 as a measured endpoint
Combination work with ghrelin receptor secretagogues, where two independent inputs are stimulated at once
Albumin-binding as a half-life extension strategy, of interest well beyond this molecule
Sermorelin is the unmodified parent fragment and Tesamorelin the clinically developed analogue. The CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin preparation combines it with a secretagogue.
Certificates of Analysis are published for tested products and batches. A certificate is a batch-specific record: it reports what was measured, by which method, on a stated date, against a batch identifier. It is evidence about the sample analysed at the time of analysis, and it is silent on attributes it does not list and on what has happened to the material since.
The batch number is the field that connects the document to a physical vial. Where the identifier on a vial does not appear on a certificate, the certificate does not describe that vial, however thorough the analysis behind it was. Batch records can be searched directly, and the guides below explain what each field establishes and what it does not.
