Products supplied by Viper Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes. They are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration, are not medicinal products, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition. They are not supplied for self-administration or for therapeutic use, and are not marketed or supplied as medicines, food, supplements or consumer health products.

What you may use it for

Lawful scientific work. In practice that means:

• Laboratory research
• Analytical work, including method development and reference standards
• In-vitro research
• Biochemical and molecular research
• Scientific investigation and teaching

Who can buy

Anyone competent to receive, store, handle and dispose of research chemicals safely and lawfully.

You do not need to work for a university, a hospital or a commercial laboratory. Independent researchers can buy here, on the same terms as everybody else: the materials go to the permitted uses above and nowhere else.

Checking that your acquisition, storage, handling and use are lawful where you are — and permitted by your institution, if you have one — is yours to do. We cannot do it for you and we will not pretend to.

What it must never be used for

None of it goes into a person or an animal. Specifically, it must not be bought, resold or used for:

• Human consumption or administration of any kind, including self-administration
• Therapeutic use, or the diagnosis, treatment, prevention or mitigation of any condition
• Veterinary administration
• Recreational, cosmetic or performance use in humans or animals

What these products legally are

Viper Peptides materials are not medicines. They are not marketed, supplied or described as medicinal products, pharmaceuticals, food, food supplements, cosmetics or consumer health products.

They hold no marketing authorisation. No medicines regulator has assessed them for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. Nothing we sell substitutes for a licensed medicine or for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

What you confirm when you order

Before payment, every order asks you to confirm that the materials are for research use only. Placing the order is that confirmation, and it is acceptance of this policy.

It is a representation you are making to us, and it is recorded against the order.

When we will refuse an order

We may refuse, delay or cancel an order — in whole or in part — and refund it, where what we know suggests the materials are intended for a prohibited use.

What we know includes what you tell us, what is said to support in correspondence, and the circumstances of the order itself. We may also decline to supply somebody in future on the same basis.

We do not have to give a reason, and a refusal is not an accusation. It is us declining a sale we are not comfortable making.

What support will and will not answer

Specifications, documentation, batch records, shipping and order administration: ask us anything.

Dosing for people, human or veterinary administration, or using a material for a therapeutic purpose: we will not answer, privately or otherwise. Any enquiry of that kind gets referred back to this policy, which is the honest answer rather than a way of avoiding the question.
